Q: What does this blade do?
It acts as a seal / cover over the waste tank opening. When the toilet bowl is used and the flush or empty mechanism is used, the blade moves to open, then closes again to block out odours, prevent leaks and keep waste in the cassette tank.

Q: How do I install it?

Remove the cassette waste tank.

Locate the spindle / mounting point for the blade.

Remove the old blade (may push in / unclip).

Insert the new blade, ensuring it sits properly on the spindle and moves freely

Test with a small pour of water or by flushing lightly to check sealing.
